Art Ensemble, a group of 6 artists living in Cragsmoor New York:
They are assisted by a support staff to help orchestrate & promote events (food, music, auction staff.) The first event was summer 07' in Ellenville E-6 Artist Ensemble, a fund raiser for Ellenville Art Alliance. The second was summer 08' in Cragsmoor, at Sam's Point Preserve C-6 Art Ensemble - fund raiser for The Nature Conservency. The group executes large scale spontaneous paintings (approx 6.5' H x 18.5' W) over 2 to 3 hours. The paintings are composed of approx 96 individual, 11x14 stretched canvases. The spectators make bids on the individual canvases. |
